Dr.
Kanter is part of a Southern
California tradition
of medical excellence and care. He
received his Bachelor
of Science in Biological Sciences from University
of California, Irvine,CA. He is a 1973 graduate of
Georgetown University School of Medicine.
He continued
his training in Allergy/Immunology conjointly at
Georgetown University School of Medicine and at the
National Naval Medical Center in
Maryland. He served
10 years in the US Navy and was Chief of
the Allergy
Division of the Dept of Medicine, National Naval
Medical Center, Bethesda, MD. He later
spent 12 years
in the US Army Reserve as a physician
with the 6252nd
USAH, Ventura,CA.
Dr.
Kanter is board certified in Allergy,
Clinical Immunology
and Pediatrics. In addition, he lectures nationally
and internationally on Asthma, Allergic
Rhinitis, Allergic
Conjunctivitis, Mold related issues and Hives.
Dr.
Kanter is an Associate Clinical Professor
at the University
of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. He
has been a dedicated member of numerous established
medical societies, including the American
Medical Association,
Association of Military Allergists, American Academy
of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology, Fellow
of the American
Board of Asthma, Allergy & Immunology, American
College of Asthma, Allergy &
Immunology, Gold Coast
Allergy Society, Los Angeles Allergy Society, and the
California Society of Allergy and Clinical
Immunology.
He has published articles on numerous
topics in Clinical
Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Kanter offers the most
advanced, state-of-the-art techniques and approaches
while striving to provide patients with personalized,
appropriate, cost effective and comfortable allergy
care.

Dr. Porch-Curren has a Bachelors degree
in Psychology from UC Berkeley. She received her
medical degree from Creighton University School
of Medicine where she graduated AOA and
Cum Laude.
She completed her internship and residency at St.
Mary’s Medical Center and Harbor UCLA. Her
Allergy/Immunology fellowship training
was completed
at UC Davis Medical Center, where she
had extensive
training in adult and pediatric allergic disease.
She is board certified in Allergy,
Clinical Immunology
and Internal Medicine. Dr. Porch-Curren
has publications
in the field of allergy, reviewing the value of
immunotherapy and evaluating the role
of alternative
medicine in allergic disease. Her
expertise includes
diagnosis of allergic and immunologic
disease-including
rhinitis, food allergy, drug allergy,
eczema, asthma
and immunodeficiency. As a specialist she’s
able to focus on specific complaints.
Dr.
Porch-Curren’s approach to
individual patient’s
needs includes a thorough history and examination,
not just reacting to symptoms. Dr. Porch-Curren is

Dr. Porch-Curren grew up in Southern California and
resides in Camarillo. She is fluent in Spanish and
enjoys spending time with her husband and
two sons.
